SPD and SFD Seeks Community Help for Falcan Food Drive

The Sylvester Police Department and Sylvester Fire Department will have a box at the front gate of the Milt Miller Stadium tonight, collecting canned goods to assist the Worth County Elementary School in the Falcan Food Drive.  All canned goods collected will be donated to the South Georgia food bank to assist with the needy families in South Georgia.  Last year the Worth County Elementary School placed first in the State of Georgia, collecting over 16,000 pounds of canned goods.  We are hoping to assist the school in meeting and possibly surpassing that number this school year.  The Elementary School…
