Funeral services for Mark “Odor” Odom of Warwick will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The committal service will follow in Story-Odom Cemetery in Worth County. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mark, 53, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Dougherty County and was the son of the late Alvin Gleaton Odom and Frances O. Odom. He was an auto body tech for Jerry’s Auto Body, Inc.
Mark is survived by his son, Koby Blake Odom of Warwick; his partner, Tina Porter of Warwick; two brothers and their wives, Jerry and Elaine Odom of Cordele and Deryl and Motha Odom of Augusta; two sisters, Sylvia Cobb and her husband Stephen, and June Murray and her fiance, Larry Hayslip, all of Cordele; and nieces and nephews, Brent and Ashley Odom, Paige Lozano, Michelle Willis, Krystal Parks, Monica Shiver, Tony Odom and David and DeeAnna Morgan.
The family requests that memorials be made to Southern Care Hospice, 412 First Street SE, Moultrie, GA 31788. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services, Cordele. An online guest register is available at www.raineyfuneral.com.
