The Family Visions Outreach Ministry, of which Mrs. Judy Hall is executive director, was very active Friday morning, November 21, as numerous people were assembled for the group’s twelfth annual Thanksgiving food give-a-away.
The building at 601 W. Price Street in Sylvester was filled with all kinds of food, such as hams, turkeys, bread, canned goods, and all other items that were available as volunteers filled bags with the Thanksgiving treats. A spokesperson said that 120 bags of food would be given away. The food give-a-way is made possible by Second Harvest Bank, who furnished some of the food at reduced prices.
