Mrs. Elizabeth Thornhill Brown, 97, of Albany and formerly of Worth County, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at PruittHealth/Palmyra.
Mrs. Brown was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Brown was born in Worth County, GA on October 21, 1917 to Enos and Annie Pearl Flowers Thornhill. She had lived in Worth County most of her life. Mrs. Brown was formerly employed with Sylvester Health Care as a nurse’s aide for over thirty five years. She enjoyed going to church.
Survivors include her sons, Andrew C. Brown of Leesburg and Steve Brown of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four nieces.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Carnegie Brown on June 16, 1964.
