SPD Issues BOLO after Recent Shooting

Sylvester Police Issued a Be On the Lookout for 23-year-old Demarcus Jamel “Popcorn” Wright last week after the Sylvester man allegedly shot another Sylvester man in an attempted robbery. According to SPD Lieutenant Kenneth Washington, emergency response units were called to Club Celebrity at approximately 2:38 a.m. last Wednesday when 27-year-old Alvin Jackson of Sylvester entered the bar on Main Street with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Jackson told Sylvester police that he was walking in the area of Henderson and Martin Luther King Streets when he was approached by a male wearing all black approached him, pointing a gun, and demanding money. According to the SPD Lieutenant,
