Mr. Thomas Calvin Hudson, 69 of Sylvester died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. His funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00AM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Charlie Brown will be officiating. The family will receive friends from Friday from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
A native of Albany, Mr. Hudson has lived in Sylvester GA. He was a millwright with Georgia Electric Co. He was a graduate of Dougherty High school and Albany Technical College. Mr. Hudson taught Industrial Arts at Albany Technical College.
He was preceded in death by his wife Crystal Hudson and a sister Judy Pike.
He is survived by his daughter Christy Deal (Jason) of Sylvester, and his two sons: John Hudson (Misty) of Baconton and Carl Hudson of Chillithoe, OH, his grandchildren: Kayla Temples, Megan Temples, Hannah Temples, Carrie Deal, Bradley Deal, Ashleigh Deal, Ethan Deal, Kayla Manriquez, Seth Manriquez, Seth Hudson, and Carl Hudson; one great-grandchild, Lane Albritton and his brother Carl Sydney Hudson(Charlotte) of Lee County.
