Clyde T. Denby

Mr. Clyde T. Denby, 63, of Leesburg died Tuesday October 27, 2015 at his residence.

The funeral service held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Banks Funeral Home with interment followed in the Providence Cemetery. The Rev. Rob Gray and Rev. Melvin Slappy officiated.

Mr. Denby was born on March 13, 1952 in Worth County to the late Robert Nicholas and Annie Lee Tucker Denby. He had lived in Lee County since 1994 moving there from Dougherty County. Mr. Denby was a farmer and enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia Dianne Gray Denby of Leesburg; daughters, Edith Haire (Wade) of Leesburg, Adrianne Etheridge (Jason) of Leesburg; son, Corrie T. Denby of Leesburg; grandchildren, Bailey, Morgan and Landon Haire, Blayne and Keircyn Etheridge; sisters, Marie Bryant of Albany, Lois Fincher of Butler, Faye Shepard of Albany, Teresa Patton of Sylvester, Sylvia Lane of Marion, SC, Sharon Lane of Darlington, SC; brothers, Rex Denby of Jacksonville, FL, Billy Denby of Tallahassee, FL, Larry Denby of Hiawassee and David Denby of Albany.

Serving as pallbearers were Carlos Ramos, Michael Scott, Jeff Patton, Rodney Lane, Ricky Patton and Wilford Paramore.
