Margarette Faye Taylor Paulk

Mrs. Margarette Faye Taylor Paulk, 71, of Sumner, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23rd in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Marie Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in Paulk’s Chapel Cemetery in Worth County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Seth Moody, Jonathan Moody, Brennan Kite, Zachary Kite, Reid Merritt and Eric Johannesen.

Mrs. Paulk was born February 17, 1944 in Clewiston, Florida to the late Charlie and Geneva Holt Taylor. She was also preceded in death by three sisters. Mrs. Paulk was a housewife who enjoyed cooking, collecting cookbooks of which she spent hours looking at, trips to the beach with her family and fishing. She was a member of New Hope Holiness Baptist Church in Scooterville.

Mrs. Paulk is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim Paulk of Sumner; her children, Tony and Mary Paulk of Jacksonville, FL, Teri Moody of Lake Blackshear, Stacy Paulk of Sarasota, FL and Angie and Mark Kite of Sylvester; 8 grandchildren, Marie Hodges, Kristy Johannesnen, Seth Moody, Jonathan Moody, Cameron Paulk, Devin Paulk, Brennan Kite and Zachary Kite; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Taylor of Leesburg, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
