Darryl Goodman

Mr. Darryl Goodman, 54, of Poulan died Wednesday March 16, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Friday March 18, 2016 at Salem Baptist Church with interment following in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jackie Cabaniss, Rev. Donnie Wright and Rev. Danny Story officiated.

Mr. Goodman was born in Tifton on October 14, 1961 to the late Charles Norman “Buddy” Goodman and Sandra Rochelle Green Goodman. Mr. Goodman lived in Worth County all of his life.  He was formerly employed with Proctor and Gamble and worked on motorcycles and 4 wheelers.  He enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, fishing and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Football Fan.  He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda A. Goodman of Sylvester;  daughters, Alishia G. Anderson (Phil) of Jesup, Julie Giddens (Will) of Sylvester, Kayla Sowell (John) of Sylvester; son, Logan Goodman of Sylvester; sisters, Sandra Jones (Gene) of Sylvester, Kathy Griffin (Jerry) of Crawfordville, FL  and a brother, Scott Goodman (Gabe) of Tifton; grandchildren, Cameron Davis, Brianna Anderson, Sophie Anderson, Jon William Giddens, Kinsley Giddens, Emily Sowell and Paisley Sowell; six nieces and seven nephews; lots of cousins and his canine companion, Oreo.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by his daughter, Lauryn Nicole Goodman on July 11, 2014.

Pallbearers included Andy Lewis, Buddy Cawley, Greg Williams, Richard Windham, Wayne Gott and James Merritt.
