Margaret Courson Brady

Mrs. Margaret Courson Brady, 92, of Sylvester died Sunday September 8, 2013 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday September 11, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Isabella Cemetery. The Rev. Grady Morey and the Rev. Dan Story will officiate.

Pallbearers include James G. Brady, Sam L. Brady, Jeff Shiver, Ray Shiver, Fleming Barfield and Claude Cutler.

Mrs. Brady was born on May 20, 1921 in Fitzgerald to the late Callie Gray and Otis Melinda Mitchell Courson and lived in Worth County since 1970. Mrs. Brady was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Health and Human Services. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, art work, gardening and loved her animals. Mrs. Brady was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Melina B. Marashi of Knoxville, TN; sons, James G. Brady and Sam L. Brady, both of Sylvester and grandchildren, Zena Marashi and Taryn Marashi.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Jack” Brady on August 2, 1995.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until service hour.
