Local Police Reports

The following reports were compiled by the Sylvester Police Department between January 1 and January 31:

  • Johnny Hamilton, 30, of Sylvester was charged with criminal trespass.
  • Megan Lambert, 21, of Albany was charged with giving false name, address, or date of birth to an officer, possession and use of drug related objects, possession of a schedule II narcotic, and open container violation.
  • Jennifer Askew, 32, of Albany was charged with possession of a schedule I narcotic and possession and use of drug related objects.
  • Sheneka Rushing, 23, of Moultrie was charged with probation violation.
  • Wendell Thomas, 53, of Sylvester was charged with possession of a schedule IV narcotic, possession and use of drug related objects, drugs to be kept in original container.
  • Christopher Terry, 27, of Albany was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
  • James Rockwell, 23, of Warwick was charged with no insurance and criminal trespass.
  • Chris Hope, 53, of Sylvester was charged with aggravated assault (weapon).
  • Tevoris Alford, 29, of Oakfield was charged with obstructing law enforcement officers, battery, and criminal trespass.
  • Larry Poole, 36, of Sylvester was charged with terroristic threats and acts, aggravated assault (weapon), and third degree cruelty to children.
  • Corey McKeller, 31, of Sylvester was charged with battery and four counts of third degree cruelty to children.
  • Tyheed Durant, 27, of Albany was charged with speeding, DUI (alcohol), DUI (drugs), possession of an ounce or less of marijuana, and driving without a license.
  • William Booth, 26, of Poulan was charged with tail-lights required and driving while license is suspended or revoked.
  • Amanda Mathews, 26, of Sylvester was charged with contempt of court.
  • Raven Ross, 20, of Albany was charged with probation violation.
  • Seth Haywood, 28, of Ocala, Florida was charged with possession of marijuana (less than an ounce) and speeding.
  • John Williams,43, of Thomasville was charged with wanted person and obstructing
    law enforcement officers.
  • Elvis Davis, 52, of Sylvester was charged with disorderly conduct (weapon resulting
    in injury).
  • Amanda Mathews, 26,of Sylvester was charged with wanted person.
  • Toinette Segura, 45, of Sylvester was charged with simple battery.
  • Toinette Jackson, 25, of Sylvester was charged with simple battery.
  • Marcus Williams, 29, of Ashburn was charged with improper left or right turn, improper lane change, driving with a suspended tag, no insurance, removing or affixing tag with intent, and DUI.
