Gregory Jacob Williams

Gregory Jacob “Jake” Williams, 23, of Sylvester died Friday January 17, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Banks Funeral Chapel with interment following in Poulan Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Reverends Tim Mathews and Anson Jackson will officiate.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Jamie Seabolt, Matthew Seabolt, Josh Mann, Drew Stewart, Josh White, Tate Hathcock, Joseph Ferguson and Nick Mathews.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cody Hobby, J.J. Douglas, Clint Patterson and Ben Brown.
Jake lived in Worth County all of his life. He was employed with Driller Services of Ashburn, GA. He was a member of Worth Lodge 194 F&AM, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and roping.
Survivors include his daughter; Adalynn Williams  of Sylvester; mother, Darlene Mathews Sheffield of Poulan; father, Greg Williams (Heather) of Doerun; brother, Brandon Williams (Whittney) of Sylvester; sisters, Morgan Moore of Poulan, Heather Tomlinson (Kevin) of Poulan and Alisha Gearhart (Cory) of Sylvester; paternal grandmother, Barbara Booker (Al) of Sylvester and paternal great-grandmother, Effie Foxworth of Sylvester.
Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon and Evelyn Mathews.
