The qualifying period and the primary dates have been changed according to HB 310, signed by the Governor on Jan. 21, 2014.
• Qualifying for all local, state and federal candidates will be March 3-7, 2014
• The primary election will be held on May 20, 2014.
• The run-off for such primary will be July 22, 2014.
• The general election will be held Dec. 2, 2014.
• The run-off for such general election will be Jan. 6, 2015.
• Nonpartisan candidates will qualify with the election office.
• Partisan candidates will qualify with their party of choice.
