Mr. Marvin Loyd “Pete” Aultman, 74, of Sylvester died Friday February 28, 2014 at Willson Hospice House.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday March 03, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Reverends Jerry Cooper and Richard McNair officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were Steve Gill, Doug Aultman, Gene Tompkins, Glenn Gill, Roby Robitz, and Randy Frasier.
Mr. Aultman was born on July 05, 1939 to Joseph Nelson and Martha Jane Young Aultman in Oakfield, Ga. He was a lifelong resident of Worth County. Mr. Aultman was retired from Proctor & Gamble and served in the United States Army. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Watson Aultman of Sylvester; son, Alex Aultman (Michelle) of Tifton; daughter, Dana Davis (Bradford) of Marietta; brother, George C. Aultman (Faye) of Albany; sister, Geneva A. Singleton of Sylvester; grandchildren, Grant and Bella Davis of Marietta; sisters-in-law, ImaJean Walters of Ashburn and Marie Youngblood of Albany; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Aultman was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Jane Aultman.
