Sarah Ryan

Sarah Peterman Ryan, born August 23, 1935 to Felton Peterman and Irene Barksdale Peterman, died July 23, 2019. Sarah was born in Bridgeboro, Georgia. She is survived by her husband Charles, one son Charles, Jr., one granddaughter Ava, and three sisters; Suzanne Newsom, Marion Sandlin, Judy and her husband Joe Ed Littleton and a sister-in-law Jean Peterman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother David Felton Peterman and brothers-in-law Frank Newsom and Jake Sandlin. Sarah was a good cook and enjoyed keeping a neat home and yard. She enjoyed particularly working to keep colorful flowers growing in the yard. She will be missed. In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to the Alzheimer’s Association. Family and friends are invited to sign her online memorial tribute page at www.allenfh.com.
