Audrey Sawyer

Mrs. Audrey Thompson Sawyer, 87 of Sumner died on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Willson Hospice House.
           

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 24, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of TyTy, with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Rodney Owens will officiate.
           

Mrs. Sawyer was born on July 7, 1932 in Worth County to the late James Luther and Mary Elizabeth Turner Thompson. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was retired from the Sylvester Banking Company. Mrs. Sawyer enjoyed music, playing the piano and reading, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of TyTy.
           

Survivors include her children, Hal Sawyer (Debbie) of Leesburg , Andrea Evans (Mike) of Sycamore; daughter-in-law, Lisa Sawyer of Sumner; grandchildren, Brian Sawyer, Megan Shaw (Chad), Kyle Sawyer (Adrianne) , Kaitlyn Sawyer, Alli Edwards, Sawyer Edwards, Jonathon Evans (Jacqueline), Jade Smith (Ricky), Jared Evans (Courtney), Julie Evans; great grandchildren, Zoe Shaw, Avery Sawyer, Laura Evans, Ethan Evans and Carson Smith.
          

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Audrey Thompson Sawyer was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Sawyer on January 6, 2015 and her son Kenneth (Kenny) Sawyer on June 11, 2011 and a host of brothers and sisters.
