Lester Ree Castleberry Strenth

Mrs. Lester Ree Castleberry Strenth, 76, of Albany died Friday March 14, 2014 at her residence in Albany.
Graveside services were held Monday March 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Poulan Cemetery. Rev. Michael DeLoach  officiated.
Mrs. Strenth was born on January 29, 1938 in Sylvester to the late Thomas Lee and Maggie Ilene Whittington Castleberry. She was a homemaker who lived in Albany since 1962. Mrs. Strenth was an avid reader and loved the Atlanta Braves. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children, Charles Mitchell Strenth (Pamela) of Sulphur, LA; Selena S. Ross of Bainbridge; Eric L. Strenth and Karl K. Strenth, both of Albany; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Gresham of Orlando, and Janice Childers (Bud) of Shingler and sister-in-law and best friend, Helen Narred of Poulan.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Strenth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Strenth on August 10, 1990.
The family received friends on Monday March 17 from 1 p.m. until the service hour at Banks Funeral Home.
