JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Sylvester Local News is seeking an experienced Advertising Sales Representative. Applicant must be highly motivated and result-oriented. Preference is given to individuals with prior newspaper advertising sales experience. As an Advertising Sales Representative the ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting and securing ad sales for publications, including magazines and newspapers; focus on growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients; conduct sales meetings; perform cold calling to possible clients and make sales presentations. The ideal candidate must have a valid class C driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Successful applicant should be personable, have excellent writing skills and good command of the English language.
