Billy Ray Brown, 55, of Poulan, Georgia died Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in the Poulan Cemetery. Rev. Gordy Poole will officiate.
He was born September 28, 1958 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Denver Ray Brown and Naomi Thompson Brown. He was a self-employed mechanic.
In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his wife, Abigail Lewis Brown; son, David Brown; daughter, Jenny Brown and brother, Kenneth Brown.
Survivors include his son, Michael Lewis of Poulan; brothers, Johnny Brown and wife, Lois of Sylvester and Thurman Brown and wife, Debra of Baconton, GA; sister, Betty Bryant of Kentucky and sister-in-law, Teresa Brown of Hartsfield and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends at graveside from 10 until 11 a.m.
