Barry Richards

Mr. Barry Richards, 61, of Worth County died Tuesday May 27, 2014 at his residence.
The graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday May 30, 2014 at Hillcrest Cemetery with full military honors. Dr. Ben Bush officiated.
Pallbearers were active duty servicemen provided as part of the military honors.
Mr. Richards was born on December 2, 1952 in Wauseon, OH to the late Gerald Ernest and Maxine May Peters Richards. He lived in Worth County for the past 22 years moving here from Albany. Mr. Richards retired as a MSGT after 20 years of service in the US Marine Corps and later retired from Civil Service at the Marine Corps Logistics Base. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Richards loved to work on automobiles, electronics and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret “Marge” Torbert Richards of Worth County; sons, Robert Zimmerman, Jr. (Mary) of Worth County, John Richards (Jennifer) of Leesburg, Chris Richards (Kristi) of Augusta and Tim Richards (April) of Ty Ty; grandchildren, Jacob Zimmerman, Emily and Latham Richards, Kristin and Andrew Richards, Gabby Miller, Nathan Miller and Morgan Richards; sister, Joyce Schelling of Pioneer, OH and brother, Rodney Richards of Wapakoneta, OH.
