At approximately 2:30 p.m. today, a Worth County school bus driver contacted E911 regarding a possible drowning at 3956 Hwy 313. It seems “Patsy”, a 14-year old female lab, found herself stuck in a mire at the edge of her owner Gill Haskins’ property. Worth County Fire Rescue Lt. Casey Chapman and firefighter Tyler Bennett assisted Animal Control and BFHS Shelter Director Sherri Hendley as she worked to free Patsy. According to Hendley, Patsy is currently in stable condition.
