On January 19, 2014 at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Flash Foods convenience store located at 404 East Franklin Street in Sylvester was robbed at gunpoint. On the evening of January 23, 2014, b/m Denerick Mariuse Richardson (18), b/m Montel Jermaine Warren (18), and b/m Darius Devonte Hurley (18), all of Sylvester were arrested and charged with the armed robbery. Richardson, Warren, and Hurley are all currently in the Worth County Jail, charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault. The investigation is still on-going to determine if anyone else was involved.
