Who says teenagers only think of themselves? Two Worth County High School students have proved this untrue. Madison Bentley and Morgan Bentley have gone the extra mile in gathering materials and supplies for Camp Arrow kids. Camp Arrow is a camp for students with severe disabilities. This is one of the few opportunities for these kids to go out in the community with their peers and have some fun! As you can imagine, it is costly to run this camp for a week; however, the memories for the kids and the counselors are priceless. In order to have more money for kids to attend, volunteers collect supplies. Morgan and Madison contacted family members and friends to collect some of these needed supplies. Teachers at Worth County Primary School heard of the girls’ efforts and pitched in by filling multiple boxes with requested materials. Last summer Madison and Morgan worked as volunteers at Camp Arrow and this summer they will be working as counselors. In addition to collecting supplies, both girls have pledged a portion of their pay to the camp.
