Mrs. Evelyn Giddens, 88, of Worth County, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Banks Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Gordon will officiate.
Mrs. Giddens was born on March 11, 1930 in Brazoria TX, to the late Charles and Theresa Maresh Krampota . She has lived in Worth County since 1990 and was retired from Lee County manufacturing. Mrs. Giddens was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served faithfully. Mrs. Giddens enjoyed dancing, and eating at 3 squares diner.
Survivors include husband, Tannie Aulton “Sonny” Giddens Jr., of Poulan; sister, Ruby McNally of TX; brothers, Franklin Krampota, Charles Krampota and Jerry Krampota all of TX.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Giddens was preceded in death by her siblings, Gracie Cook, Ray Krampota, Melvin Krampota, and Bill Krampota.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18 2018, from 10 AM until the service hour at Banks Funeral Home Chapel.
