Worth County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids to thin timber on a 41-acre tract at the Worth County Public Works Department located at 118 Rebecca Drive in Sylvester, Georgia. The successful bidder will clear cut every fifth row, take out forked, diseased, malformed, and suppressed trees in the remaining rows, and provide a stumpage price per ton. Bids must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 and provide a stumpage price per ton. All bids must be clearly marked and addressed: TIMBER BID, Worth County Board of Commissioners, 201 North Main Street in Sylvester, Georgia.
Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the County Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm or as soon thereafter as possible.
