October 31, 2015, The Worth County High School JROTC Male and Female Raider teams won Region 2 Championships in the raider competition at Crisp County High School. The Raider competition was comprised of a timed rope bridge, litter carry, and 3 mile relay events. In addition to the Team Region Championships, several individual awards were presented to the following cadets. Malaysia Malachi was awarded with the Female Most Dedicated medal, and Laqwana Rowe was awarded the Female Most Valuable medal. Jacob Cothern was awarded the Male Most Dedicated medal, and Brandon Tolleson was awarded the Male Most Valuable medal. This year was a great season with both teams becoming regional champions under the Captains Tavashia Williams and Jacob Garner and Co Captains Heavenly Fletcher and Jaylen Jackson. We look forward to a great season next year.
