Worth County Shrine Club is having an upcoming concert event to help raise money to support our activities. The event will be held at Worth County Shrine Club on September 14th, 2019. Among the events to be held this Saturday include a cornhole tournament that will begin at 3:00 p.m. The entry fee for the tournament is $20 per person, or for $30, a player can compete in the tournament and get a ticket to the evening concert. Teams will be drawn, and trophies will be given tot he top three teams.

-As for the concert, Matt Barksdale, Julie Bennett, and Riley Anderson will be preforming. Coolers are welcome and food will be available. Tickets will be $15 presale or $20 at the show. The music will start at 7:00 p.m. for more information, call Wade Roach at 229-343-7507.

Worth County Shrine Club is a club unit of Hasan Shine Club Center located in Albany, GA. Hasan Shriners is part of a world wide organization of Shrine Masons consisting of over 200 Shrine Centers scattered over the entire world. Our philanthropy supports and manages Shriner’s Hospital for Children. The money that we raise in our fundraising events goes to support other causes as well; we donate to the Hasan transportation fund which is used to provide the transportation needed to get to our local patients in Worth County (and surrounding counties) to much needed medical treatments. We also donate to local charities such as Toys for Tots, the Ms. Track-a-Licious pageant (A pageant to raise money for track chairs for disabled youth) and Christman programs throughout Hasan and other Shrine Clubs. We also donate locally to members of the community, either Shriner or Non-Shriner, when they are in need of our help. We support local Worth County schools by sponsoring youth teams, and most recently the WCHS Women’s Softball team.

These are just a few of the things that we as a fraternity like to participate with the money that we raise throughout the year. Our success depends largely on the donations from wonderful organizations like yours in the community.

Thank You, Billy Brooks, Secretary/Treasurer
