WCMS Collecting Jeans for Teens

Posted on January 14, 2015 By Sylvester Local

Worth County Middle School has entered into a contest with other schools throughout the United States to collect “JEANS” for homeless youth in our community and other states. The homeless population among our youth is staggering and we want to help Aeropstale get jeans for teens in need. I will be placing a box in the front lobby of the school for you to place your jeans. Now for the good news, while we collect jeans for a great cause our school will be entered for a chance to win a $5,000 grant, a concert with “THE VAMPS” at our school, and an Aeropostale shirt for each student at WCMS!!!

I know we have some very caring parents here at WCMS and we are always looking for ways to help those less fortunate. Remember, some of these jeans will stay RIGHT HERE to help youth in Worth County, so bring us your old jeans (sizes infant through adult)!! Do not hesitate to call me if you need additional information about our jeans drive. Thank you in advance for your help with this project!

The middle school will collect jeans from January 12 through February 12.
