Melvin Brewer

CrossMr. Melvin Brewer, 93, of Sylvester died Wednesday March 4, 2015 at his residence.
The remains have been cremated and no services are scheduled.
Mr. Brewer was born in Denver, Colorado and graduated from the University of Miami. He retired from the Metro Dade County Sheriff’s Department where he had worked as a Crime Scene Investigator and Bomb Squad Technician. Following his retirement, Mr. Brewer and his wife, Delores lived in Pompano Beach, FL and Kuja Key, FL until her death. Following her death, he moved back to Colorado, where he had spent much of his young life. Mr. Brewer moved to Sylvester, GA in 2006. Mr. Brewer was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during WWII.
Mr. Brewer will be missed by his friends, John and Nell West, Elaine Jones, Gwen Kelly, Diane McGee and Mary Jo Neese.
