Henry McGeehan Jr

Mr. Henry McGeehan Jr., 74, of Sylvester GA, died Monday February 8, 2016 at Pruitt Health in Sylvester GA.
At the request of Mr. McGeehan, his remains were cremated and a visitation was held at Banks Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Mr. McGeehan was born in Kenilworth, NJ on March 5, 1941 to the late Henry John, Sr. and Agnes Higgins McGeehan. He had lived in Worth County since 1959 and was a former police officer and EMT in Sylvester and Worth County. Mr. McGeehan retired as the assistant chief with the Sylvester Fire Department. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. and a member of the Isabella Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons John McGeehan (Jennie) of Sylvester and Robert McGeehan (Kelly) of Lake Park; brother; Bill McGeehan (Carol) of Jenson Beach FL; sisters, Lydia O’Hara of Tinton Falls NJ, Carol Pate of Kenilworth NJ and grandchildren, Mason and Cade McGeehan.
