Eddie Mae Hill Walker

Mrs. Eddie Mae Hill Walker, 97, of Sylvester died Sunday September 1, 2013 at Sylvester Health Care.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Isabella Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was born in Sycamore, GA on December 21, 1915 to the late Edgar Franklin and Jessie Poole Hill.  Mrs. Walker lived in Worth County most of her life and was retired from the Empire Mercantile Company after many years. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. Mrs. Walker was a member of Isabella Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include her sons, James L. Walker (Lori) of Memphis, TN, Randall Walker (Carolyn) of Sylvester, Wayne Walker (Joyce) of Sylvester, Wendell Walker (Patsy) of Gainesville, GA and Allen Walker (Terri) of Nashville, TN.; sister-in-law, Ruth Hill of Sylvester, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several great, great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Walker on July 29, 1970; a brother, Thomas Franklin Hill and a sister, Ruby Saxon.
Serving as pallbearers were Ross Walker, Randy Walker, Brian walker, Wade Walker, Mike Walker and Ernest Hill
