Gerald Alan Etheredge

Mr. Gerald Alan Etheredge, 52, of Sylvester died Mon., Nov. 11, 2013 at his residence.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 14, 2013 at Gordy New Bethel Baptist Church with interment following in  Evergreen Cemetery with Reverends John Evans and Jerry Etheridge officiating.
Pallbearers included Brian Norton, Jeffery Bass, Clay Bass, Gene Bass, Wayne Etheredge and Milton Bass. Honorary pallbearers included Oliver Hood, Earl Beanblossom, Bobby Watson, Tony Strenth, Wayne Senkbeil, Allen Strenth, Billy Senkbeil, Heywood Apperson, Randy Gunter, David Carroll, Terry Brown, Leonard Watson, Bob Potts, Johnny Smoak and Stan Adams.
Mr. Etheredge was born in Albany on Nov. 23, 1960 to the late Thomas Gerald and Julia Christine Apperson Etheredge and lived in Worth County all of his life. He was employed with DeMott Peanut Company as a truck driver. Mr. Etheredge was a faithful member of Gordy New Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on engines and repairing things.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Bass Etheredge of Sylvester; sons, Brandon Etheredge and Clint Etheredge, both of Sylvester; brothers, Curtis Etheredge of Sylvester and Keith Etheredge of Cuthbert and sister, Kathy Dell (Lane) of Albany.
