Milton Clements

Mr. Milton “Shorty” Clements, 86, of Valdosta died Mon., Nov. 11, 2013 at  Berrien Nursing Home.
The graveside service was be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., Nov. 14, 2013 at Wright’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating.
Mr. Clements was born on June 9, 1927 in Tift County to the late John W. Clements and Rachael Marchant Spillers. He lived in Worth County most of his life and was a retired dairy farmer. Mr. Clements served in the Merchant Marines and loved fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Frances C. Harvey (Bill) of Valdosta and Diane C. Brooks (Chris) of Meridian, MS; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six great, great-grandchildren and sister, Betty Sue Page of Titusville, FL.
In addition to his parents Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Hall Clements on Nov. 16, 2002; son, Jacky Ray Clements on July 20, 2002; grandson, John Stacey Garrett and three siblings.
