Stella Mae Roberson Alligood

Stella Mae Roberson Alligood, 77, of Tifton died Wed., Nov. 20, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sat., Nov. 23, 2013 in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. The family received friends on Sat., Nov. 23, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Alligood was born on Jan. 11, 1936 in Jacksonville (Telfair County) and was the daughter of Odell Roberson and Sallie Pittman Roberson, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Julian Thompson; her second husband, Luthern Alligood; one daughter, Joyce Thompson; one great-grandson, Christopher Oates; two brothers and one sister. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Alligood is survived by her children and their spouses, Jenny and Keith Smith of Tifton, Priscilla and Carlton Souter of Poulan, Lamar and Debra Thompson of Poulan, Sue and Joe Tribulak of Sylvester, Jordy Alligood of Sylvester, Tommy Ray and Carolyn Alligood of Farmington, MO and Renee Alligood of Hawkinsville; four brothers, Thomas Roberson of Roberts, Ricky Moon of Flowery Branch, Robbie Moon of Lawrenceville and Randy Moon of Oakwood; two sisters, Carne Brister of Flowery Branch and Kristy Pace of Loganville; 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Condolences may be sent to the family at the online guest registry at www.bowen-donaldson.com. Services for the Alligood family were under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
