Mrs. Grace Littleton McGough, 79, of Bridgeboro died Thursday December 12, 2013 at Willson Hospice House.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Bridgeboro Baptist Church with interment following in the Kimball Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Joe Brown officiated.
Active pallbearers included Greg Littleton, Wade Littleton, Jason Littleton, Jeff Littleton, Chris Littleton, Bobby Littleton, Dean Altizer and Willie Hay.
Mrs. McGough was born on January 1, 1934 in Worth County to the late Robert Lee and Lois Tomlinson Littleton. She lived in Bridgeboro since 1965. She was a member of Bridgeboro Baptist Church and sang in a quartet for several years. Mrs. McGough was formerly employed with Sears and J. C. Penney. Mr. & Mrs. McGough celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on July 28, 2013.
Survivors include her husband Charles Alonza “C.A.” McGough, Bridegeboro; son, Steve McGough (Tammy) Sylvester; sisters, Geneva Hay of Jacksonville, FL, Irma Rodenberger of Sylvester and Ruby Altizer (Jack) of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Raymond Littleton (Betty) of Moultrie, Joe Ed Littleton (Judy) of Bridegeboro, Donnie Littleton (Erlene) of Bridegboro and Robert Littleton (Carolyn) of Pelham; sister-in-law, Ann Littleton of Bridegeboro; grandchildren, Ryan McGough (Misty) and Joni Jolley (Walt); great-grandchildren, Ryder, Carey and Chloe Jolley, and Chase McGough.
In addition to her parents Mrs. McGough was preceded in death by her brother, David Littleton.
The family received friends on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 6 p.m. until until 8 p.m. at Banks Funeral Home.
