Geneva Jenkins

Mrs. Geneva Brown Jenkins, 90, of Sylvester died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at her residence.
                The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Unity Baptist Church with interment following in the Mount Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Mitchell County, GA.  Rev. Bobby Joe Brown and Rev. Trey Brown officiated.
                Mrs. Jenkins was born on June 4, 1927 in Worth County to the late Robert R. and Ethel Turner Johnson.  She had lived in Sylvester most of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jenkins surrendered her heart to Christ as a young mother and her life was evidence of her love for Him. She joyfully loved, served and adored her family as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and doting sister. She was a faithful member of Bridgeboro Baptist Church and considered everyone there a part of her family. She was an avid prayer warrior who poured her heart out on behalf of others until her last breath.
                Survivors include her sons, Noel F. Brown, Jr. (Dian) of Sylvester, Boyd R. Brown (Paula) of Sylvester, and Rev. Bobby Joe Brown (Audrey) of Bridgeboro; daughters, Deanna Boaz (Earl) of New Orleans, Judy Klinger (Bryan) of Warner Robins and Vicky McDonald (Marvin) of Doerun; 13 grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren; brothers, Gene Johnson, Huey Johnson, Richard Johnson, Felton Johnson and Medford Johnson.
                In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husbands, Noel F. Brown, Sr. on March 19, 1998 and Adron N. Jenkins on March 8, 2008, a grandson, Rodney A. Brown and 4 brothers.
