Colise Raines

                Mrs. Colise Hatcher Raines, 93, of Sylvester died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Isabella Cemetery.  Rev. Jason Jones officiated.
                Mrs. Raines was born on May 20, 1924 in Mitchell County to the late Felix and Della Morey Hatcher.  She had lived in Worth County since 1944.  Mrs. Raines was a homemaker who worked at Bob’s Candies in addition to serving as the Bookkeeper for 30 plus years at her husband’s gas station.  She enjoyed sewing and helping others whenever she could.  Mrs. Raines had many joys in life but her greatest joy was her family whom she loved dearly.  She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and tried to live her life as a testimony for Him.  Mrs. Raines was a faithful member of Isabella Baptist Church.
                Survivors include her daughters, Terry Achord (Wayne) and Penny Davis (Mark), all of Sylvester; grandchildren, Bryce Johnson (Erika) of Tifton, Sonya Maxwell (Matt) of Sylvester, Brian Johnson (Diane) of Pace, FL and Suzanne Moree of Florida; great-grandchildren, Will Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Ella Johnson, Owen Johnson, Jason Clark and Kristi Puckett; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
                In addition to her parents, Mrs. Raines was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Raines on August 31, 2011, a sister, Ola H. Priest and brother, James Hatcher, Carl Hatcher and Paul Hatcher.
                Pallbearers included Curt Clark, Al Surrency, Chris Powell, Tiddles Dupriest, Tiger Luke and Rocky Duckworth, Jr.
