Inez Howell

Mrs. Inez E. Howell, 88, of Sylvester died on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Pruitt Healthcare Sylvester.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday July 31, 2019 at the Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment followed in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon Poole officiated.

Mrs. Howell was born on April 23, 1931 in Worth County to the late Johnnie Russell and Leila Mae Eunice Eason. She had lived in Worth County all of her life and was retired from the Big Star Grocery Store and the Handy Andy Convenience Store. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Mrs. Howell was a member of the Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Lambert (John) of Sylvester; son, Craig Tompkins (Gladys) of Sylvester, 9 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Howell, Sr. on May 8, 1995 a sister Mary Helen Shackleford and a brother, Carlos Eason.
