Mary Alday Bailey

Mrs. Mary Alday “Lil Sis” Bailey, 62, of Sumner died Thursday June 5, 2014 at her residence.
The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday June 7, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Bailey was born on August 3, 1951 in Donalsonville, GA to the late Ned and Ernestine Johnson Alday.  She lived in Worth County since 1978 and was retired from Walmart. Mrs. Bailey  enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Bailey of Sumner; children, Carla Williams (Phillip) of Sumner, Tanya Tanner (Trevin) of Gordy, Josh Purvis (Jessica) of Irwinville and Matt Bailey (Amber) of Leesburg; grandchildren, Tayler and Tori Tanner, Seth and Mallory Williams and Blake and Lily Bailey; sisters, Patricia Miller (W.H.) of Iron City, Nancy Blizzard (Paul) of Donalsonville, Faye Barber (Monroe) of Unadilla and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Banks Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Horton and her brothers, Norman Alday, Jerry Alday, Chester Alday, and Jimmy Alday.
