Evelyn Darlene Cooper

Mrs. Evelyn Darlene Cooper, 59, of Sylvester died Monday June 9, 2014 at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday June 13, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Cabaniss officiated.
Pallbearers included Ricky Smith, Jason Bennett, George Paul, Loyd Bearden, T. D. Sears and David Powell.
Mrs. Cooper was born on April 30, 1955 in LaFollette, TN, to the late Sherman Cobb Massengill and Geraldine Hawkins Glover. She lived in Worth County for the past 22 years and was employed for 20 years with Bordo Citrus Plant. Mrs. Cooper loved country music, and enjoyed photography, bingo and planting roses. She was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years Willie Daniel Cooper of Sylvester; children, Donna Powell (Mike) of Sylvester, Ray Cooper and Wayne Cooper, both of Sylvester and Sue Ann Cooper of Winter Haven, FL; siblings, Reba Stevens (David) of Powell, TN, Eddie Massengill of Zephyrhills FL, Sheba Massengill of Winter Haven, FL, Ralph Sherman Massengill of Sylvester, Jimmy Massengill and Sharon Byrd, both of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Kelsey Daniel Powell, David Alan Powell, Lane Cooper, Kealie Cooper, Xavier Ray Goodwin and David Lee Goodwin.
