On Tuesday, March 3, the Worth County Board of Commissioners met to address the grievance County Clerk Rene’ Whidby had against the Board of Commissioners filed on January 6. The day before, on January 5, Commissioner Ken Hall made a motion to rehire Whidby with some conditions. The conditions being that Whidby improve her overall job performance, minutes will be ready for review within three business days as required by state law, improved communications with members of the board and board staff, and all action documents will be out by 5 p.m. the day after the meeting for review by the Chairman and the Vice Chairman.
