Doris Eloise Davis Mauldin, 83, of Ty Ty died Thursday, June 27, 2013, at her daughter’s residence. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Ty Ty First Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Duggan and Rev. Andy Ring officiated with burial following in Ty Ty First Baptist Church Cemetery. Nephews served as pallbearers. The family received friends on Saturday, June 29, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Mauldin was placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will be at the home of Diane and Wayne Burdette, 323 Crawley Road in Ty Ty.Mrs. Mauldin was born on April 17, 1930 in Colquitt County and was the daughter of Berrien Clay Davis and Violet Ruth Harmon Davis, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Daniel Mauldin, Jr., who died in 2005; four brothers and three sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Ty Ty First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mauldin is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dannie and Susan Mauldin of Tifton and Clay and Melody Mauldin of Chula; three daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Gene Malcom of Cobb, Elaine and Larry Cooper of Sylvester and Diane and Wayne Burdette of Ty Ty; two sisters, Ruby Powell of Ty Ty and Dorothy McKellar of Sylvester; a brother-in-law, Bill Mauldin of Moultrie; a sister-in-law, Nona Davis of Tifton; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.

Condolences may be sent to the family at the online guest registry at www.bowen-donaldson.com. Services for the Mauldin family are under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
