Dorothy Mae Sprowes

Dorothy Mae Sprowes age 78 of Poulan died September 26, 2014 at The Willson Hospice House in Albany.

Graveside services were held at 4:00pm Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Poulan Cemetery with Elder Roger McDonald officiating.

Mrs. Sprowes was born July 18, 1936 in Gadsden, AL. to the late James D. and Anna Mae Wilson Craig. She enjoyed arts and crafts along with sewing, which she did as a trade for many years. Mrs. Sprowes had lived in the area more than 30 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Deborah (David) Jordan of Poulan, Dewanna (Rick) Tilton of Warwick, Devenna Pearson of Ashburn, and Delanna (Ricky) Spence of Tallahassee. 2 sons, Danny Sprowes of Ashburn and Dale Middleton of Radford. FL. 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sprowes was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Sprowes, 1 daughter, 1 son in law, 5 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Reflection Cremation & Funeral Service in Tifton was in charge of the arrangements.
