Flaudine Tillery

Mrs. Flaudine Salter Tillery, 73 of Omega, formerly of Worth County, died on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at the Omega Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Omega City Cemetery. The Rev. Allen Mullis and Rev. Rocky Duckworth will officiate.  

Mrs. Tillery was born on January 30, 1946 in Sylvester, GA., to the late Richard and Carrie Salter. She had lived in Worth County most of her life before moving to Omega. Mrs. Tillery was retired from Walmart in Tifton, but also worked at Shaw Industries and Queen Carpets. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, having her morning prayers, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Mrs. Tillery was a member of the Omega Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Bruce Tillery of Omega; children, Sonya Benson (Brian) of Scooterville, Waymon Cross of Scootervile; grandchildren, Lyndsey, Jacob and Jessica Benson, Junior, Thomas and Alison Cross; great grandchild, Iris Rangel; sister, Louverna Posey of Anderson City, and Jolene Anglon of Jesup, GA.            

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
