Headrick Receives Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree

Dr. Whitney Leigh Headrick graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Washington DC on May 18, 2013, receiving a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. The ceremony was held at George Washington University Lisner Auditorium followed by a reception in the Marvin Center Columbian Square.
Dr. Headrick completed her internships in Gainesville, Virginia; Frederick, Maryland and most recently at Georgetown Hospital in DC. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Headrick received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia in 2008 where she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority, the oldest and largest sorority at UGA. She graduated from Tift Area Academy with honors in 2004 and is a member of First Baptist Church of Sylvester.
Dr. Headrick is the daughter of Ricky and Debbie Headrick and granddaughter of Mrs. Ida Carter, all of Sylvester. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Wilda Headrick and the late Charles Headrick of Dougherty County and Mr. Ernest G. Carter of Albany.  Dr. Headrick plans to practice in the DC area.
