Congratulations to Courtney Hood, the Sixth Grade State Winner in the American History Essay Contest at the Georgia State Society, NSDAR 2013 annual convention. Courtney and her parents (Craig and Tammie Hood) were recognized at the DAR Schools Luncheon held in Atlanta on March 16th. She was presented with a medal, Certificate of Award, and a check. The members of the Barnard Trail Chapter, NSDAR, are very proud of Courtney and her state award.
