At approximately 9:37 last night, Worth County public safety officials were notified of a chase in progress on Hwy 33. Officials tell us Crisp County deputies were in pursuit of a white male, described as being 5’9″ weighing approximately 180 pounds. The suspect currently has outstanding warrants believed to be related to a domestic violence issue. Officials tell us the individual is believed to be in the process of divorce, is distraught, but not currently considered dangerous. Both the Worth County and the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office continue to search for the suspect last seen in a wooded area in the vicinity of Hamilton Hill Road and Jodie Hobby Road. A helicopter is on the way to aid in the search.
