Mr. Gerry W. Gray, 44, of Sylvester died Sunday July 7, 2013 at his residence.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday July 10, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Isabella Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Jones officiating.
Mr. Gray was born on June 20, 1969 to Jimmy Lonza Gray and Gloria Eloise Butler Gray in Cordele and lived in Worth County all his life. He was employed with PopCo, Inc. as an equipment operator. Gerry enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Isabella Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Hammack Gray of Sylvester; son, Taylor Chambers of Valdosta; daughter, Kaytlyn Varnadoe of Sylvester; father, Jimmy Gray of Sumner; mother, Eloise Gray of Albany; sister, Missy Gray of Albany; half-brother, Alan Poole of Bridgeboro; nieces, Cameron Paulk, Kelly Hurst, Kayla Hartsfield and a nephew James Merritt.
Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Lewis, Chad Dowdy, Greg Sizemore, Skip Pendley, Ray Milling, Ryan Paulk, Steve Hutchinson, James Merritt, and Gerald Sledge.
