Love Lights A Tree

Posted on November 11, 2015 By James Jackson

The Worth County Unit of the American Cancer Society will hold its 27th Annual “Love Lights a Tree” program on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. on the courthouse lawn.  All cancer survivors, families, and friends are invited to attend this special celebration of life.    A survivor reception will be held in the courthouse grand jury room at 5:00 p.m. prior to the tree lighting ceremony.

Donations in honor or memory of friends and loved ones are $5.00 per name and may be taken or mailed to the Sylvester/Worth County Chamber of Commerce office located at 122 N. Main Street.  For names to be included in the program, please make donations prior to December 1.

Checks should be made payable to the American Cancer Society.   So that acknowledgement cards may be sent, also enclose the following information: your name and mailing address, name and address of each person honored, name and address of a family member of each person memorialized.

For more information contact Julie Sumner, Worth County Chairperson, at (229) 347-2298.
