Mary Moore

Mrs. Mary Joyce Moore, 69 of Warwick, died on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, interment followed in the Rocky Mount Cemetery. The Rev. Carlton Webb officiated. 

Mrs. Moore was born on August 2, 1950 in Cordele, GA., to Jesse and Frances Cagle Lewis. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was retired from the Turner County Board of Education. Mrs. Moore enjoyed traveling and reading, but most importantly spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Mike Moore of Warwick; children, Chad Moore (Lynn) of Turner Co, Trina Moore Barber (Donney) of Warwick; mother, Frances Cagle Lewis of Warwick; grandchildren, Madison Barber, Allison Moore and Justin Moore; siblings, Leon Lewis, Ann Barfield, Debbie Leach, Ronnie Lewis (Chris) and Teresa Seaton (Chuck).

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Lewis.
